Princess Maxima attended the award ceremony of the MetaalUnie Productivity Award in Nieuwegein yesterday. The award is for a medium company which helps to increase the participation of employees in the productionproces.

Princess Maxima handed out the Inspiration for Integration 2008 Award at the Ridderzaal in The Hague on May 16th. The theme was the Power of Diversity. Seven finalists have been given the chance to work on their ideas these past months.

Here is the update of weekly magazines, mostly just gossipmagazines. Maxima is featured on five magazines this week: two dutch, two german and a spanish magazine. Scans of the Elsevier article next week and we'll be on the lookout for Lecturas!

Princess Maxima, her husband Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and their three daughters Amalia, Alexia and Ariane spent last weekend with Princess Christina of Spain, her husband and their four children in Barcelona. Maxima and her family stayed at the home of the spanish princess. Spanish gossipmagazine Lecturas features several pictures of the visit this week. More later!

On May 4th, the Day of Remembrance of the Death that fell during WW II, Princess Maxima attended the Memorial Ceremony at the Nieuwe Kerk and afterwards the laying of the wraths at the National Monument on the Dam in Amsterdam.
